White and blue (#5) White and blue (#5)

Nice stuff

Fun and clever melodies. Nice use of reverb. I really like simple shapes so that was nice to hear. The piano and sine melodies complimented each other really well. I love that you put the diminished chord in there mainly because I just love tritones so much. Powerful stuff with the melodies in the second half too.

Decent job with the drums. The sounds fit well and I imagine you're not a super sample hunter. Dynamics were pretty alright, it seems like you know what calls for loud and soft parts. It definitely still sounds mechanical but I'm not sure if that matters so much in this kind of music. Nice move on the driving beat at the end.

Nice fades. Mix was nice. Liked the subtlety with the arpeggiator.

The stucture flowed well. The transition into the minor key part had some issue, it seemed like maybe when everything but the drums faded it was a meter too long or the drums should have softened up a little. The ending never really happens the song just kind of stops.

Good stuff man I expect great crap spewing out of you.

Thanks for all the nice words man. The part about the samples is a good call, and i think most of your points are pretty valid.

Relistening to this one, I should have really made that drum beat more powerful. It sounds like a military march now, which is kinda dumb. Eh, oh well. I shall try to continue spewing out crap. The great kind of crap, I mean. :)
